Aim of the project
The main objective of the Project is the synthesis by Direct Laser Deposition (DLD) of a metallic cranial prosthesis starting from powders/wires.

The main equipments that will be used for analyses will be: AFM NT-MDT NTEGRA Probe NanoLaboratory; SEM Carl Zeiss EVO 50 with EDX attachment Bruker-AXS 133 eV XFlash 4010, X-ray diffractometer (powder and grazing incidence geometry) Bruker D8 Advance.

During this Project the used equipments will be: Laser source TruDisk 3001, Trumpf – 1030 nm wavelength, max. peak power=3 kW; TruLaser Robot 5020 (6 axes) with deposition line package; Optical microscope DM4 M LED Leica; Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer-Shimadzu 8400S; Raman microscope spectrometer JASCO NRS-7200; Profilometer Ambios Technology XP-2 Stylus Profiler
